These are images obtained during a recent 2023 safari to Botswana and, notably the Okavango delta. By no means are the images meant to show a fully comprehensive picture of the huge variety of stunning birds that blesses this region. Some of the more common birds may seem over-represented but, of course, some birds are more common than others! I make no apologies for this. I hope you enjoy seeing these aerial wonders and ask you to remember that many of them have uncertain futures because of the various activities of man, many of which are highly detrimental to the environment.
